1. Description

For some telephone lines, it is necessary to announce the start and end of button press recognition; for this, the In-band DTMF component is used.

This component is present in flow types like:

  • Voice.

The block (Fig.1(1)) is used in space to build the Flow. The settings panel for this component opens (Fig.1(2)) when you click on the block.

DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) is a tone generated by pressing the phone buttons

1.1. In-band DTMF block

The block consists of the following elements:

  1. The name of the component;
  2. in branch - receiving (connecting with the previous block) branch;
  3. out branch - outgoing (connecting with the following block) branch.

1.2. In-band DTMF settings panel

It consists of the following elements:

  1. State;
  2. Break;
  3. Add limit.

1.2.1. State

When you click on the State field, a drop-down list opens from which you have to select a value. Available value:

  • start - start of button press recognition;
  • stop - end of button press recognition.
Tip

The In-band DTMF component must be placed in the Flow scheme before the Playback component with the State field set to start and after the Playback component with the State field set to stop.
