General (Gateway)

1. Description

Here, you can enter general information about the Gateway.

The General tab differs depending on whether you create a SIP Registration or a SIP Trunking.

1.1. SIP Registration

Consists of fields (Fig.1):

  1. Name;

  2. Account;

  3. Username;

  4. Password;

  5. Flow schema;

  6. Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP;

  7. Description;

  8. Expire.

1.1.1. Name

The name will be displayed in the registry on the Gateways page.

1.1.2. Account

The field for entering the user login for the Gateway. It is issued by the provider upon registration (to receive a phone number).

1.1.3. Username

Here you can enter the name of the authorized user.

1.1.4. Password

Required field.

Here enter a password that the provider issues.

1.1.5. Flow schema

Here you choose which Flow will be processed when the Gateway is used.

When you click on the Flow schema field, a drop-down list opens from which the Flow schema is selected. If the required Flow schema is not in the drop-down list, use the Flow schema field as a search field.

1.1.6. Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP

Required field. The field for entering the address of the Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP issued by the provider.

1.1.7. Description

The field for entering a description of the Gateway.

1.1.8. Expire

Here enter the number of seconds after which this Gateway is re-sent for the provider to re-register.

1.2. SIP Trunking

Consists of fields (Fig.2):

  1. Name;

  2. Proxy;

  3. Flow schema;

  4. Host;

  5. Description.

1.2.1. Name

The name will be displayed in the registry on the Gateways page.

1.2.2. Proxy

The field for entering the IP and port of the provider. SIP server.

1.2.3. Flow schema

Here you choose which Flow will be processed when the Gateway is used.

When you click on the Flow schema field, a drop-down list opens from which the flow is selected. If the required flow is not in the drop-down list, use the Flow schema field as a search field.

The field for entering our IP and port.

Preconditions

  1. Access to the Admin application;

  2. Access to the Gateways section in the Admin application;

  3. Permission to select and delete in the Gateways section;

  4. The presence of at least one Gateway.

Steps



  1. Click on the field you want to change.

  2. Make the necessary changes (the number can be set using the

    buttons)

  3. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.

2.2. Change the Flow Schema in the Gateway.

Preconditions

  1. Access to the Admin application;

  2. Access to the Gateways section in the Admin application;

  3. Permission to select and delete in the Gateways section;

  4. The presence of at least one Gateway.

Steps



  1. Click on the Flow schema field. A drop-down list opens.

  2. Select the required option from the drop-down list.

  3. Click the Save button
