Change log (System)

1. Description

This page allows you to add an objecting Change log. By changes, we mean additions, edits, and deletions.

The Change log page is available to Users who have the Select permission. These permissions are assigned to the User's Role on the Role permissions page.

For the permissions EditCreate, and Delete, the User must have both the Select permission.

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Creation tool (Fig.1(1));

  2. Search field (Fig.1(2));

  3. Refresh button (Fig.1(3));

  4. Registry (Fig.1(4));

  5. Pagination (Fig.1(5)).

1.1. Creation tool

Use the Add button (Fig.1(1)) to create a Change log. After clicking on it, the access to the General tab is opened. You can access the details of an existing change log through the record editing tool (see paragraph 1.4.4).

You can create one Change log per object type.

The search is performed on the Object column.

The registry is a list of entries of existing objects in this section, each of which consists of a set of fields:

  1. Checkbox;

  2. Object ;

  3. State;

  4. Editing tool;

  5. Removal tool.

If there is no entry on the page, then an additional Add button is displayed in the register, the functionality of which duplicates the Add button in paragraph 1.1.

1.4.2. Object

The system name of the object is displayed here.

1.4.3 State

With the switch in this column you can switch the Change log on/off. If the switch is in the off position, no changes are recorded.

Preconditions

  1. Access to the Admin application;

  2. Access to the Change log section in the Admin application;

  3. Permission to create in the Change log section.

Steps

 

  1. Click the Add button. The General tab opens.

  2. Enter data. The Save button becomes active.

  3. Click the Save button.

Result

Data saved. The Change log is created.

Preconditions

  1. Access to the Admin application;

  2. Access to the Change log section in the Admin application;

  3. Permission to select and delete in the Change log section;

  4. The presence of at least one Change log.

Steps

 

  1. Find the Change log you want to delete in the registry;

  2. Click the delete button — . A modal window opens to confirm the deletion;

  3. Click the Yes button.

Result

The modal window closes. The Change log is removed.

  4. The presence of at least one Change log.

Steps

 

  1. Find the Change logs you want to delete in the registry. Select them using the checkbox;

  2. Click on the delete button at the top of the registry. A modal window opens to confirm the deletion.

  3. Click the Yes button.

Result

The modal window closes. Change logs are removed.

  3. Permission to edit in the Change log section;

  4. The presence of at least one Change log.

Steps

 

  1. Find the Change log you want to edit in the registry.

  2. Click on the edit button in the entry of this Change log. The General tab opens.

  3. Make changes.

  4. Click the Save button.

Data saved.

  4. The presence of at least one Change log.

Steps

 

  1. Find the Change log you want to enable in the registry entries.

  2. Move the switch in the State column to the active position.

Result

The Change log is enabled
