1. Description

This tab is for assigning devices Devices to a userUser. Devices should be understood as SIP phones and other IP telephony devices.

Consists of fields (Fig.1):

1.1. Default device

To select a default deviceDefault Device, click on the Default device (from the list of selected devices)* field and select the required device Device from the list.

The Default device (from the list of selected devices)* list includes devices Devices selected in the Devices field.

You can change the default device Default Device by clicking on the Default device (from the list of selected devices)* field and selecting another device Device from the list.

You can also remove the default device Default Device by clicking the close button (Fig.2).

If the default device Default Device is not assigned, there is no connection via WebRTC, and the button for calling the Workspace will not work for the userUser.

1.2. Devices

You can select several devicesDevices, and their number (excluding displayed in the field) will be displayed in the Devices field (Fig.3).

Click on the Devices field and select the required device Device from the list.

You can use the Device field as a search field for the desired deviceDevice.
If you need to create a new deviceDevice, click Add new (Fig. 1). After clicking, you will be redirected to the General page of the Device, where you have to create a new deviceDevice.

Steps


  1. Click on the Device field. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Choose the required deviceDevice(-s) from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.

If multiple devises are selected, the Device field displays one of the assigned devices Devices and the number of other assigned devicesDevices.

If there is one device Device selected, only that devices Devices is displayed.

2.2. Unassign a

device

  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the User partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to edit in the User partition;
  4. The presence of at least one user User with at least one assigned deviceDevice.

Steps


  1. Click on the Device field. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Find the required assigned device Device (assigned devices Devices have a yellow fill).
  3. Click on this deviceDevice. The yellow fill disappears.
  4. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.

If multiple active devices Devices are left, the Device field displays one of the remaining devices Devices and the number of other remaining devicesDevices.

If there is only one device Device left, only that device Device is displayed.

2.3. Reset all assigned
