1. Description

It is designed to customize the display of web chat.

Present when setting up Web-chat.

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Preview of the chat window (Fig.1(1));
  2. Preview of the chat button (Fig.1(2));
  3. Language;
  4. Position;
  7. Open Timeout;
  8. Button Color widget  (Fig.1(3)).

After making changes, you must click on the Copy code for site button. The script is copied and then used on the site where the chat should be.

1.1. Preview of the chat window

This shows how the chat window on a site will look according to the settings made on this page.

1.2. Preview of the chat button

This shows how the chat button on a site will look according to the settings made on this page.

1.3. Language

Here you select the language in which information will be displayed in the chat.

The following languages are currently available:

  • English;
  • Русский;
  • Українська.
Note

Chat messages will be displayed according to the settings in the chat scheme!

1.4. Position

This field selects the position of the chat on the site.

Position currently available:

  • Right;
  • Left.

This field selects the button shape of the chat on the site. 

The following options are currently available:

  • Square;
  • Rounded.

Enter a link to the logo in this field. Only JPEG, or PNG, 24x24px, is supported.

. Open Timeout

This switch is responsible for the ability to automatically open the chat:

Image Removed - the chat does not open automatically;

Image Removed - the chat automatically opens after the number of seconds of being on the site page, which is entered in the Second field.

. Button Color widget

Using the widget, you can choose the color and transparency. To do this, use the scales at the bottom of the widget.

You can set the color code through the input fields.

You have to click the "Save" button after all the settings.

2.1. Change web chat display options

Goal

Change Language/Position/ Button Shape

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Chat Gateways partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to create or edit in the Chat gateways partition;
  4. Have at least one Chat Gateway for Web chat or create a new one.

Steps


  1. Click on the field you want to change. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Select the required option from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Save button.

Result

Data saved.

Goal

Change Web chat logo

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Chat Gateways partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to create or edit in the Chat gateways partition;
  4. Have at least one Chat Gateway for Web chat or create a new one;
  5. Have the URL link to the logo.

Steps


  1. Click on the Logo URL field.
  2. Enter the URL link to the logo.
  3. Click the Save button.

Result

Data saved.
