1. Description

It is designed to set up a web chat.

Consists of fields Chat Gateway for creating chats on the site page.

When creating a Web chat gateway, the following elements are available:

  1. Copy code for site (Fig.1(1)

1.1. Name

Here you enter the name that will be displayed in the registry of the Char Gateways page.

1.2. 

You can enter the site's address where the chat can be hosted in this field. You can use it on any site if you enter * in the field.

1.3. URI

The unique URI of the account. Generated automatically and used inside the Webitel system.

The timeout is applied when the connection is established—entered in seconds. The link is terminated if no data is received from the server during this timeout. It affects that the chat is preserved when the page is refreshed.

1.5. Flow

Here you choose which Flow will be processed when the Char Gateway is used.

When you click on the  Flow field, a drop-down list opens from which the flow is selected. If the required flow is not in the drop-down list, use the Flow field as a search field.

Applicable from the moment the connection is established. The contact is terminated if no data arrives at the server during this timeout. It is entered in seconds.

Enter the number of seconds to establish a secure connection. If there is no connection within the entered time, the chat will not work. It is entered in seconds. Recommended value 10 sec.

Here enter the maximum file size that can be transferred. Enter in megabytes.

2. Opportunities

2.1. Change to web chat settings

Goal

Change a Name/Allow Origin/URI/Read Timeout/Write Timeout/Handshake Timeout

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Chat Gateways partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to create or edit in the Chat gateways partition;
  4. Have at least one Chat Gateway for Web chat or create a new one.

Steps

  1. Click on the field you want to change.
  2. Make the necessary changes (the number can be set using the Image Removed  buttons).
  3. Click the Save button.

Result

Data saved.

2.2. Change a Flow 

Goal

Change a Flow

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Chat Gateways partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to create or edit in the Chat gateways partition;
  4. Have at least one Chat Gateway for Web chat or create a new one;
  5. Have a Flow.

Steps

  1. Click on the Flow field. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Select the required option from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Save button.

Result

Data saved

It is possible to create a chat window (Fig. 2) and a call order window (Fig. 3).

The display in chat messages depends on the Flow selected on the Chat tab.

The system automatically calculates how many free slots there are for each time, considering the value in the Available agents field and the number of bookings already added by subscribers. Free slots for booking are displayed in green and available for selection.
After selection, the subscriber is added to the Queue for the selected time.

When the call time comes, the system, according to the configured Strategy, selects a currently available Agent,

and chats of alternative channels (Fig. 4).

1.1. Copy code for site 

Copies the script, which is then used on the site where the chat should be.

Changes on the site will be displayed only after using the new script!

1.2. Save

Clicking this button saves the changes.

1.3. Close 

Clicking this button does not save changes.
