To receive or make calls, you need to register any SIP gateway

In the Admin interface of Webitel, in the Gateways section, you have to add a gateway: Gateways.

Types of providers:

  • SIP Trunking - a provider without registration. Authorization via IP.
  • SIP Registration - a provider with authorization using login and password.

Before adding a new gateway, you need to create a routing scheme for the inbound calls: Flow schemas.

Configuring a SIP Gateway with Registration (SIP Registration)

To set up a new gateway with registration, you need to choose SIP Registration and fill in a page with registration information received from the provider:

  1. Register/Server/Gateway/Hostname or IP - SIP proxy address
  2. Account number - username assigned by the SIP provider
  3. Password - password assigned by the SIP provider
  4. Authentication ID - user’s authentication identifier
  5. Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP - outbound SIP proxy address
  6. Domain/Realm - domain name.

You also need to choose the created routing scheme (Flow), that will be used during the calls by this gatewayНастройка маршрутизации

After saving the registration status should be successful (Success).

Configuring a SIP Gateway without Registration (SIP Trunking)

To set up a new gateway without registration, you need to choose SIP Trunking and fill in a page with registration information received from the provider:

  • Host - a host that will be used for the inbound calls

You also need to choose the created routing scheme (Flow), that will be used during the calls by this gateway. Настройка маршрутизации

On the Configuration tab, it is possible to limit the list of IP addresses from which the inbound calls will be received.

  1. Network protocol (any, udp, tcp)
  2. IPv4 address from which the signal protocol will be coming (it is possible to specify several IPv4 addresses)
