1. Description

The page is intended for assigning Roles to the User.

You can assign a Role or multiple Roles to the User. Click on the Role field (Fig. 1), and select the required Role from the drop-down list to change or assign Roles. One User can be assigned multiple Roles. The access rights of all Roles are summarized. 

The User can read, edit, create, or delete entries in a specific section depending on the Role.

Roles are created in the Permissions/Roles partition.

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the User partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to edit in the User section;
  4. The presence of at least one User.
  5. The presence of at least one Role.

Steps


  1. Click on the Role field. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Choose the required Role(-s) from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.

If multiple Roles are selected, the Role field displays one of the assigned Roles and the number of other assigned Roles.

If there is one Role selected, only that Role is displayed.

2.2 Remove the Role of the User

Goal

Remove the Role of the User

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the User partition in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to edit in the User section;
  4. The presence of at least one User with at least one assigned Role.

Steps


  1. Click on the Role field. A drop-down list opens.
  2. Find the required assigned Role (assigned Roles have a yellow fill).
  3. Click on this Role. The yellow fill disappears.
  4. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.

If multiple active Roles are left, the Role field displays one of the remaining Roles and the number of other remaining Roles.

If there is only one Role left, only that Role is displayed.
