1. Description

It is designed to view information on existing licenses for a specific User. Here is the ability to issue or withdraw a license.

If the license is nominal, it can be assigned to a certain number of Users; the number is indicated in the Limit column on the All licenses page.

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Search field (Fig.1(1));
  2. Filter tool (Fig.1(2));
  3. Refresh button (Fig.1(3));
  4. Registry (Fig.1(4));
  5. Pagination (Fig.1(5)).

1.1. Search field

The search is performed on the Name column.

It consists of an input field and a close button () displayed when the cursor is placed in the input field. To search by part of a word or a number, use the * symbol. You can also use the * character to replace any number of characters.

1.2. Filter tool

It is used to select licenses for which information will be displayed in the registry. 

When you click the button, the Select visible columns modal window (Fig. 2) opens. Here you can select licenses using checkboxes.

1.3. Refresh button

Updating the register table is performed by clicking on the refresh button -

(Fig.1(3)).

1.4. Registry

The registry is a list of entries, each of which consists of a Name column and columns for each license.

The Name column displays the User's name.

Clicking on a name opens the General page for that User.
The name of the license consists of the name of the product for which the license was issued and its validity period.

1.5. Pagination

It consists of the Rows per page field, which indicates the number of entries (it is possible to set from 1 to 1000) per page, and forward and backward buttons for switching pages.

2. Opportunities

2.1. Issue a license to a User

Goal

Issue CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license  to John Smith User

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Licenses section in the Admin application;
  3. Global permission (Select);
  4. CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license;
  5. Availability of at least one free slot for issuing a license to a User if it is a nominal license;
  6. At least one User.

Steps


  1. Find the John Smith User in the registry.
  2. Select the checkbox in the CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) column.

Result

2.2. Withdraw a license from a User

Goal

Withdraw CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license  from the John Smith User

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Licenses section in the Admin application;
  3. Global permission (Select);
  4. CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license;
  5.  John Smith User.

Steps


  1. Find the John Smith User in the registry.
  2. Clear the checkbox in the CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) column.

Result

The CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license withdrawn to John Smith User (Fig.4)

2.3. Select licenses to display in the registry

Goal

Select licenses to display in the registry

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Licenses section in the Admin application;
  3. Global permission (Select);
  4. At least one license.

Steps


  1. Click the   button. The modal window Import license opens.
  2. Check the checkbox to select the licenses that should be displayed in the register.
  3. Click the Add button.

Result

The CALL_CENTER (31.12.2024) license withdrawn to John Smith User (Fig.4)
