Logs (Change logs)

1. Description

That tab displays the history of changes regarding objects.

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Filter block (Fig.1(1));
  2. Download tool (Fig.1(2));
  3. Refresh button (Fig.1(3));
  4. Registry (Fig.1(4));
  5. Pagination (Fig.1(5)).

1.1. Filter block

It is designed to filter the data displayed in the registry.

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Filter fields (Fig.2(1));
  2. Reset filters button (Fig.2(2));
  3. Expant filters button (Fig.2(5));

1.1.1. Filter fields

Available fields for filtering:

  • Operation;
  • Modified by;
  • Modified on: from;
  • Modified on: to

1.1.2. Reset filters button

Represented as a button , all previously selected filters are reset when clicked.

1.1.3. Expant filters button

Represented as a  button, all fields for filtering are revealed when clicked.

Note

The number of fields displayed may vary depending on the browser window size. Use the  button to expand all fields.

1.2. Download tool

When you click the button, a CSV file containing information about changes regarding objects is downloaded. 

1.3. Refresh button

Updating the register table is performed by clicking on the refresh button -

1.4. Registry

The registry is a list of entries of existing objects in this section, each of which consists of a set of fields:

  1. Operation;
  2. Modified on;
  3. Modified by;
  4. User IP;
  5. User ID;
  6. Object;
  7. Record ID.

1.4.1 Operation

The name of the action that the User has performed is displayed here.

1.4.2 Modified on

This displays the time at which the change occurred.

1.4.3. Modified by

The name of the User who made this change is displayed here. Clicking on the User's name opens the General tab for that User.

1.4.4 User IP

The IP of the User is displayed here.

1.4.5. User ID

The User ID is displayed here. Clicking on the User's name opens the General tab for that User.

1.4.6. Object

The system name of the object is displayed here. 

1.4.7. Record ID

The ID of the record that was changed is displayed here. Clicking on the record ID opens the tab of the object that was changed.

1.5. Pagination

It consists of the Rows per page field, which indicates the number of entries (it is possible to set from 1 to 1000) per page, and forward and backward buttons for switching pages.

2. Opportunities

2.1 Download change data

Goal

Download user activity data

Preconditions
  1. Access to the Admin application;
  2. Access to the Change log section in the Admin application;
  3. Permission to select in the Change log section;
  4. The presence of at least one Change log.

Steps


  1. In the filter block, select the required settings for data selection.
  2. Click on the download button  at the top of the registry.

Result

The data file is downloaded.
