Settings (Imports of CSV from file)

1. Description

It is designed to set up a template for importing data from a CSV file.

Consists of fields (Fig.1):

  1. Char set;

  2. Separator;

  3. Skip headers;

  4. Purge existing members;

  5. Name column;

  6. Timezone column;

  7. Priority column;

  8. Expire column;

  9. Bucket column;

  10. Agent column;

  11. Variables column;

  12. Communication type Destination column;

  13. Communication type Priority column;

  14. Communication type Code column;

  15. Communication type Description column;

  16. DTMF column.

The Save button becomes active after filling in the required fields.

Required fields are marked with *.

1.1. Char set

It is used to select encoding. At the moment, the parameter is not available for changes. By default, UTF-8 is used. 

1.2. Separator

The punctuation mark used in the import file is entered here. By default, , is used.

1.3. Skip headers

The Skip Headers switch allows you to skip headers. At the moment, the parameter is not available for changes.

1.4. Purge existing members

Determines whether to delete existing Members before importing or adding to existing ones.

 - delete existing Members;

- do not delete existing Members.

1.5. Name column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.
The data in the column must contain the Member`s name.

1.6. Timezone column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the timezone of Members.

1.7. Priority column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the priority of Members.

The higher the number, the higher the priority of calling the Member.

1.8. Expire column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the date and time when the call to Members expires.

1.9. Bucket column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the data corresponding to the identifier of the Buckets to which Members should be added.

 The id can be found in the address bar of the Bucket (Fig. 2). To do this, you need to go to any tab of the Bucket whose id you are interested in and take the last digits in the address bar.

1.10. Agent column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the Agent id. The Agent will be assigned to the Member.

 The id can be found in the address bar of the Agent. To do this, you must go to any tab of the Agent whose id you are interested in and take the last digits in the address bar.

1.11. Variables column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the variables that will be pulled up when dialing Members.

1.12. Communication type Destination column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the data for connecting to Members—for example, a phone number.

1.13. Communication type Priority column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The priority for the communication destination is indicated in these columns. One column has data about one communication destination. It is used when one Member has several communication options, for example, two phone numbers (Fig.3).

The higher the number, the higher the priority.

1.14. Communication type Code column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the code for the type of communication with the Member.

1.15. Communication type Description column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the data of the description.

1.16. DTMF column

In the field, enters the column name from the import file.

The data in the column must contain the data on the extension dialing.
